Our story

Eleven years of riding out together

Bombay Motorcycling Club began in 2015 as five riders and one shared garage in Bandra, tired of riding the ghats alone. The first official run was a rain-soaked climb to Mahabaleshwar with two punctures and no backup vehicle. We still count it as the founding ride.

Today we are 180-odd riders, from daily commuters on 150s to weekend Himalayan and Interceptor owners. The Sunday habit hasn’t changed: out before the city stirs, back before it notices we left.

No cc snobbery

A Splendor and a Panigale ride the same Sunday line. Nobody’s bike buys them the front.

Helmets, always

ISI-marked, no exceptions. Not on the highway, not for the 2 km to the petrol pump.

No rider left behind

The group moves at the pace of its slowest rider, and a sweep rider closes every ride.

Leave no trace

Whatever you carry up the ghat, you carry back down. Viewpoints included.
